The holidays are…kind of upon us? In my family, the annual joke is that if my mom starts asking about the holidays a month earlier than last year, we'll eventually give her our gift lists in January! If your world is anything like mine, the holidays seem to be coming earlier and Banner Design earlier each year. No more than 12 hours after Halloween, we're inundated with December holiday themes, almost completely bypassing Thanksgiving. Days are getting shorter, service providers are getting busier, and every company that sells a retail item has something they want you to buy. It's tempting to wait closer to November to launch a holiday ad strategy as we're still trying Banner Design to finish our fall strategy, or just on principle. And while no one wants to be a Scrooge, it can be hard to think about building a vacation strategy that far. Suddenly, you have a lot more eyes on your shopping cart page than you did a year ago at this time. Advertising Continue reading below And people find themselves doing a lot more online shopping Banner Design than usual. You could say it's due to a craving for dopamine. And the relatively new concept of “shopping anxiety” – anxiety about what the future holds and the need for comfort in the present moment. That's if you still needed validation for the new impulse buying habit you picked up in the past six months. People are also encouraged to finish their holiday shopping earlier this year. Caused by concerns about COVID-related delays in shipping or supply chain issues. All of this compounded by uncertainty about Banner Design the future of the pandemic and whether jobs will remain stable. This means shopping can start early and stretch throughout the holiday season as changes materialize. But the moral of the story is: people are online and they're buying, so you need to get your brand out there.
